Our Children’s Corner

This started In January 2010 and is now firmly established within the first Sunday of the month Service. Children and Young People gather in “their corner”, which allows parents/carers to take part in the service, safe in the knowledge that their children/young people are positively occupied.

Each month is guided by the Gospel Reading for that Sunday, but is presented in a way to engage them. For example at our recent preparation for the Harvest Festival Service we all planted mustard seeds to take home, played a game of guess the fruit and vegetable using a blindfold and made a collage of our interpretation of Van Gogh’s Sunflowers.

All children and Young People are always welcome.

Sunbeams
 

There is always a craft activity for pre-school children and their parents/carers ending with a simple prayer at Sunbeams.

It is intended for children aged 0 to 5 years who will enjoy a story, song and taking what they have made home. They meet in the Church on the second Tuesday of every month in the afternoon from 2 to 3pm.
