Apart from our regular religious services, St James is striving to serve the local Community. Some of the events and activities we also offer are as follows:-

MONTHLY

  • Open Church  The Church is open for refreshments between 10am – 12pm on the last Thursday of the month.

  • Breakfast in Church.  Recently following a Sermon by the Bishop of Buckingham encouraging us to “reach out” we have started serving a cooked breakfast in Church on every 2nd Sunday of the month. This has proved to be very popular. We start at 10 a.m with breakfast and at 10 .30 we enjoy a family interactive service. We are so very pleased that lots of families seem to enjoy this Service.

  • Church Music Group.  Our Music Group plays in the Church on each 2nd Sunday of the month.  Anybody, of any age, who has an instrument and would like to play with the Group is very welcome.  The Group meets at 10 a.m in the Church on the 2nd Sunday to practice for half an hour before the Service begins.
  • Sunbeams  Monthly children and parents/carers activities and prayers  - see under Children and Young People for more detailed information.
